UAE Citizens: Visa-Free Entry to Antigua and Barbuda
UAE citizens enjoy visa-free entry to Antigua and Barbuda — a reciprocal arrangement that reflects the close diplomatic ties between the two nations and creates practical benefits for travellers in both directions.
Holders of regular and diplomatic passports from the United Arab Emirates can visit Antigua and Barbuda without a prior visa for a period of stay not exceeding 90 days.
The period of stay should not exceed 90 days and in case one intends to extend the stay, one can stay for an additional 90 days. The total stay should not exceed 180 days in 12 months.
The PM Gaston Browne also offered the UAE the opportunity to establish an embassy on the island, with the promise that government would provide the land free of cost.
Browne’s announcement was made as a UAE delegation, led by Minister of State Reem Al Hashimy, was engaged in bilateral discussions at the Office of the Prime Minister, during an earlier visit to the country.
“We have agreed to make available to [the United Arab Emirates] a parcel of land to establish a facility, which will be a gift from the government and people of Antigua & Barbuda,” Browne said.
Browne added that he would discuss visa free reciprocity in the open border agreement with the UAE.
